Last​ ​year​ ​was​ ​NYFTSA’s​ ​inaugural​ ​year​ ​at​ ​Fordham.​ ​We​ ​held​ ​numerous​ ​events​ ​including​ ​screenings​ ​and  discussions​ ​of​ ​classic​ ​films,​ ​panels​ ​of​ ​Fordham​ ​Alumni​ ​now​ ​working​ ​in​ ​the​ ​industry,​ ​live​ ​readings​ ​of  Fordham​ ​student​ ​screenplays,​ ​trips​ ​to​ ​studios​ ​around​ ​NYC,​ ​and​ ​Q​ ​and​ ​A’s​ ​with​ ​industry​ ​professionals.  Last​ ​year’s​ ​guests​ ​included​ ​writers​ ​and​ ​producers​ ​from​ ​​Blazing Saddles,​ ​​Baywatch,​ ​​Monk,​ ​​Bolt, Tangled,  Wreck-It, Ralph, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, and​ ​​Moana.
